She saw Pale Horse,
in a cafe one day,
in the corner of her eye.
Pale green and pallid.
Serving pancakes and salad.
21st century horse.
The rider’s name
of course,
was Death.
From him flowed famine,
and pestilence.
Death by the sword,
silence....
Over coffee she hears,
the rage of wild beasts,
crying out for the blood
of unborn innocents.
